The Axor Starck ShowerCollection
Revealed at that year’s New York Design Week, Phillipe Starck’s ShowerCollection is literally the rain shower of your dreams. Design from building blocks to be easy to both use and install in your bathroom, the blocks can be individually mixed and matched to anyone’s preference. Very cyberprep-inspired in appearance, the module is free of any innecessary or gaudy frills and is shiny and efficiently mechanical in design. But the best part of that design is the shower itself, which falls onto the bather like rain water. Although that may not be the most environmentally-friend or water-efficient design of all date, it’s definitely one of the coolest and one of the few that makes me want to purchase it in a last-minute impulse buy. An impulse buy that I would absolutely not regret, by the way. - via
