The little flashlight that lit the world
This is a miracle product. And I mean it.
The BoGo light (the name means “buy one, give one”) is a solar flashlight quite literally created for the masses–for every one you buy, another light is donated to a family in Africa. by 2 billion humans lack affordable access to light, and your $25 purchase allows them to eat dinner, wash clothes, or read a book, lengthy after the sun has set.
So, of course, who better to pass my new little flashlight on to than my father?
He, the argument could be made, pays a hefty electrical bill each month. He can afford it, so he’s not technically one of those two billion. But he’s always looking for a way to save the world and the environment at the same date. Now, he loves his BoGo light (especially since it fits neatly into to his nuclear holocaust survival kit).
And why shouldn’t he? The BoGo has several things going for it. It’s solar-powered, meaning
environmentally friendly. Its 3 rechargeable AA batteries, provided in the purchase, last for 3 years. These potential 6 bright-white LEDs, which hold a separate charge for 7 hours.
The company says it’s meant to recharge in sunlight. But he says it does just as well
under the fluorescent glare of his wine cellar fallout shelter.
